Support for this website, and more Tarrant County DA horror
stories continue to pour in. Please know that all supporters have my gratitude, and any efforts you can make will be appreciated
by me and those who have had these troubling incidents with Curry's office. Remember, Tim is an elected DA; he works for
us, the citizens. Feel free to call him and let him know how you feel. Don't forget to call your local reporters, as well;
as they see increased public interest, they will report.
This troubling story is from a female victim who
went to 'Criminal' District Attorney Tim Curry's Office just the other day. Please read it, and think about this happening
to your daughter...
I had the "pleasure" of visiting Tim Curry's office this afternoon for an appointment with Marie
West, FV Coordinator. Marie was out sick but had not contacted me to reschedule, so there I was. I asked to meet with Christie
Dunn, an Assistant DA, who I had previously spoken with on the phone.
Ms. Dunn's conduct was outrageous. She was insolent,
rude, overbearing and malicious in her words and demeanor towards me (and I noticed that she is VERY recently out of law school,
no less). And I was there VOLUNTARILY.
I came to discuss a case where I am a potential victim/witness. I explained
that the police report was overzealous and incorrect. She (Ms. Dunn) continuously interrupted me, contradicted me, and essentially
threatened me as if I were a perpetrator. I was mortified to say the least. Her supervisor was no better, and a second prospecutor
even smirked at me about the situation.
You are absolutely correct. As a tax-paying citizen of Tarrant County, I am
appalled at the conduct of these folks. I am also a Republican, but party lines WILL cross here!

In
a follow-up e-mail, this lady had the following to say...
Yes, you may post my email/letter. You may also want to know
that the root of this has to do with---MONEY. There are federal grants given to local municipalities for enforcing strict
prosecution of "violence against women and children." The federal government has a program that resulted for the "Violence
Against Women's Act of 2000." The website I found is: www.ojp.usdoj.gov/vawo/arrest_grant_desc.htm. It is very specific about
how the municipality must have pro-active arrest policies, support of non-profit agencies, et al ad nausem.
We are
in a quagmire.
Regards,
(please withhold my name in any publized communications--how unfortunate is that?)

Here's another story, received via e-mail. Can you feel
the hurt in this lady's words? Why is the Tarrant DA's Office so...What's the word I'm looking for here? Vindictive? Harsh?
Unfeeling? I don't know. Here's the e-mail.
I'm so sorry for your experience with the so-called "justice" system
in Tarrant County. And even sorrier for all the people who will read your story and think "that will never happen to me".
I used to be one of those people. And now my son is in the State prison serving a 2 year term as a sex offender, and will
have 10 years of probation to serve when he gets out. This is an intelligent, kind, wonderful young man who graduated from
UT Austin after 4 years in the honors program, and was in his first year at law school when he was contacted by Arlington
police and told if he didn't come back to Texas and turn himself in, they'd come get him - if he cooperated, things would
go better for him. What was the heinous crime he was accused of? Having the poor judgment to have sex with an underage girl,
an incident she instigated, and not her first! Unfortunately, her father is Charles ****, an Arlington attorney who was also
the president of the Arlington Bar Association. Never mind that it was 2 months before she told her parents, or that the police
lied to my son to get him to confess, or that nothing went as it should have in the whole case. The ADA on the case, Ben Leonard,
offered my son a plea bargain of 12 years in prison! This for a charge that according to the criminal defense lawyer my husband
and I hired, should only have resulted in probation at the most. We never were able to find out why he was so set on punishing
our son like this. We spent money that was very hard to come by to hire the attorney who was inept and incompetent, and
suffered through a horrible trial. The ADA subpoenaed me and forced me to testify against my own son. The supposed victim
thought this was all a great game - laughed and giggled and flirted while she was on the stand.
I could go on and on
- to what point? Tim Curry and all of his ADA's seem to be intent only on their political careers and propogating the bloated
criminal justice system in Tarrant County. Round and round it goes, and God help you if you get caught up in it, especially
if you're not wealthy and well-connected. Yes, it can happen to anyone.
Tim Junior in Trouble?
Our
investigators have found records of a Timothy Cullen Curry, Junior, in trouble with the law. Could this be the son of our
Honorable District Attorney?

An interesting story about the Tarrant County DA once again
ignoring evidence, to the point where it could be construed as criminal.
Tim's False Conviction
Folks, Tim's got to go. Please read through this entire site, and, come election time in 2006, cast your vote, and
do your part.

Tim intervenes for Campaign Contributor/Friend
"One attorney
pointed out that, with Curry providing the beer, the D.A. had a vested interest in helping Arrington get the DWI charge dropped."
Good 'ol boy story
Would you or I have gone to jail over this?
